FHOS Fishing Report 08/26/2021

Back to school time in Stuart… the kids are in class, summer is quickly coming to a close and we keep waiting on the summer doldrums to really slow fishing down… just too bad that the fish are not paying attention and remain pretty active.

Our charter boats have been getting into consistent sailfish action on live baits. Not quite as good as a couple of weeks ago, but still consistent action that is keeping the charter clients happy and coming back. Bonita are around, and plenty of kingfish have been rounding out the days for the boats. We did have a 40lb wahoo on the scales this past week…. something about that full moon in August and wahoo.

Inshore bite remains good with plenty of snook being released. Think structure and if you can get live bait, you should find the snook.

The weather looks to improve after the weekend and imagine we will have some reports of Yellowfins off the corner early next week.
