FHOS Fishing Report 12/21/2020

Offshore – Fishing remained slow through Monday morning, and with the shift from SW to some NW winds, everyone was anticipating some increased sailfish action. Unfortunately, the sail bite never materialized. Bonitas were the primary catch on the troll yesterday, and some scattered Kingfish mixed in with the Bonitas again. We have a cool front coming through Tuesday, a slight warmup before Christmas, and then a true cold front on Christmas day. Might see some sail action pick up ahead of this Cold front, but conditions look good for the weekend. Hopefully the Sailfish will pay attention and start chewing.

River / Inshore – Pompano continue to be prevalent along the Sailfish point flats.
